Profile: Antony Mayodi is a program manager of Rafode and former employee of Care International in Kenya in the microfinance program, also worked with Amurt international Southern Sudan as the Microfinance program manager. He was instrumental in designing and implementing the program from start up to a stable institution. He has also done consulting work with ICRAF by spearheading the organizations agriculture microfinance to peasants in western Kenya. He is the co-founder member of Rafode, an organization dedicated to serve the rural and urban poor who are unreached.
My interest is to manage Rafode and help it become a leading institution in Kenya serving the rural poor, introduce different products and services that will increase income to the rural poor. Also. find partners who can help our institution realize the dream of expanding in Kenya, and to reach out to more of those unreached, and increase my knowledge in microfinance management knowledge.

Profile: Has been the Director of APDM, which supplies support services to the CVECA Network, First Region, Kita, Mali, for almost a decade. His responsibilities include monitoring the network, establishing financial states and statistical indicators of the network, and relations with the network’s institutional partners. Previously he was the coordinator in charge of the monitoring and control of eight CVECA, responsible for management committees, management training, and administration of the Credit Unions. He also worked as the coordinator in charge of the organization of farming groups at the time when cotton was introduced into the Kita area. |

Perfil: Ms. Anne Gathuku is currently serving as the Project Manager for a Savings and Credit scheme for HIV/ AIDS in K-Rep Development Agency. She has over 12 years working experience promoting micro finance and poverty alleviation projects among disadvantaged people in both the urban and rural parts of Kenya. She brings along valuable experience and expertise in project identification, project design, implementation, project monitoring and evaluation, development and implementation of monitoring tools (MIS) and coordination of community-based micro credit initiatives. She has actively participated in capacity-building initiatives for both staff and clients.
Together with other development partners, mainly Population Council, Pathfinder International, Christian Children’s Fund, and Ministry of Youth for the Youth Savings and Credit and HIV/AIDS projects respectively, she has successfully provided leadership in implementing two projects in Nairobi, Mombasa, Thika, Kiambu, Busia, Butere Mumias, Kakamega and Bondo in Nyanza Province. The two projects are relatively new innovative concepts/products that target the high risk groups of our society with high risk of default or failure. The gains of this networking and partnership with local collaborators are evident as the projects are highly received by our beneficiaries and the community at large.
She is also in charge of staff training programs in micro finance operations in KDA.
Ms. Gathuku is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management at the University of Nairobi, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi.

Profile: Is the Executive Director of the local association HLUVUKU-ADSEMA. He has also worked as a Credit Supervisor, and was the General Manager of the Credit Project “MaleYeru”. , The Hluvuku Association has forty-two employees; of which thirty six of them work for Male Yeru, providing Micro-credit services through five branches of the districts of Boane, Catembe, Matutuine and Namaacha, serving 2,668 active clients, and a loan portfolio of 1,118,450.00US$.
Currently studying a “Management Course” by correspondence with the University of Aberta, in Lisboa.
An active member of the Presbyterian Church, he also dedicates time to do voluntary community work. In 1999, he supported the National University on a Natural Resource Conservation Project; and from 2001 to 2002, coordinated the construction of schools and teachers houses in the district of Matutuine
