OPERATIONAL INFORMATION

PATH TO LEARNING “SUCCESSFUL INNOVATIONS IN RURAL MICROFINANCE IN AFRICA, ASIA, LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN

October 2, 2007

How are we advancing?

It is a pleasure to once again be in touch with you. I would like to share with you how exciting it has been for the team to work with all of you, such a geographically diverse group, peoples and cultures who rarely have the opportunity to meet. The Path is an opportunity to learn with others how to resolve common challenges, an opportunity for cooperation and broadening horizons.

The team is working hard in preparation for this unique learning experience. I would like to bring to your attention two fundamental steps in the development of a Path: the Operational and the Technical. This letter refers to these two steps, advances in our journey towards the Path.

Within the philosophy of the Paths to Learning, the exchange of experiences with our local hosts plays a central role. The visit provides them with an important opportunity for growth as well. We ask you to fill in the short form below. (Download) With the information gathered, we will design and print posters which will be given to the communities we visit, and will allow us to communicate to the host communities and organizations, agencies and projects, who the visitors are, where we come from, what we are looking for, and what our contribution is.

Please return the completed form before October 8 to:
