OPERATIONAL INFORMATION
PATH TO LEARNING “SUCCESSFUL INNOVATIONS IN RURAL MICROFINANCE IN AFRICA, ASIA, LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN

Dear Participants,
I am writing to tell you about out progress in acquiring the visas for Bolivia and Ecuador.
Visas for Ecuador
The Ecuadorian consulate in Peru will give us the visas once the Path begins in Lima; the request for all candidates who presented their passports on time has been approved.
Each participant must:
1. Present a valid passport
2. Two (2) passport-sized photographs
3. Pay $60 US. This cost must be paid by the participant and/or those financing his or her trip.

The following Participants must apply for the Ecuadorian visa in their country of origin.
1. Cesar Rios, El Savador
2. Manuel Bermudez, Nicaragua
3. Patricia Acosta, Honduras
Visas for Bolivia
The Bolivian Consulate in Peru will give us the visas once the Path has begun in Lima; all candidates who present the following requirements will receive it.
Each Participant must:
1 Present a valid passport.
2 One (1) passport-sized photograph
3 Vaccination against Yellow Fever
This last requirement is a formality only, as we will not be visiting jungle areas, where risk of contagion exists.
Those who are vaccinated please take your certificate of vaccination; those who can be vaccinated in their country of origin please do so.
If it is not possible to be vaccinated in your country of origin, don’t worry: you can get a vaccination in Lima.
4 Pay $30 US. This cost must be paid by the participant and/or those financing his or her trip.
In Summary
To sum up, we are advancing well in obtaining the visas for Ecuador and Bolivia. Those who require both visas must pay a total of $90 US, provide three (3) passport-sized photographs, and a Yellow Fever vaccination.
